Radoslawa Jasik

President – Executive Director

Radoslawa Jasik is a Polish pianist who has been living in New York City since 2013. She graduated from the prestigious Mannes College with a Master Degree in Performance and a Professional Studies Diploma, receiving the Steinway Award for an outstanding performer. She obtained a DMA degree at the Hartt School (University of Hartford) where she was actively performing with the 20/20 honor ensemble in 2018-2020.

Radoslawa Jasik is the first prize winner of numerous competitions, including “The Beijing Music Academy Piano Competiton” (China), “The J. S. Bach International Piano Competition” (Gorzów Wielkopolski, Poland), “The Polish-German International Piano Competition,” (Zgorzelec/Goerlitz, Germany), “The Città di Barletta 20th International Music Competition” (Italy), “The 9th International Independent Music Competition Individualis” (Kijev, Ukraine) in the solo and duo category. She has received numerous honors including scholarships from the Prime Minister of Poland and the President of Katowice, as well as from the Mount Royal University (Canada), The Maestro Foundation and The Fontainebleau School of Music and Fine Arts in France. 

Ms. Jasik had her debut at Carnegie Hall in December 2015 performing Virko Baley’s Partita no.3 with the flutist Denis Savelyev in the world premiere arrangement for flute and piano. She was also invited as a soloist to perform at Carnegie Hall for “The Celebration of Women – In light of the Centenary of Women’s Right to Vote in Poland” in 2018 as well as for the Moniuszko Bicentenary Gala in March 2019.  Savelyev and Jasik, known as the UP Duo, returned to Carnegie Hall in 2022 to perform Polish and Ukrainian music. In 2024 they released an album entitled “Two Cultures, One Sound.”

In November 2022, Ms. Jasik curated her own project at the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in New York City collaborating with composer Mikołaj Piotr Górecki. Radosława Jasik performed Górecki’s solo and chamber pieces as well as the Trio Concerto with the Avalanche Orchestra. She also led a panel discussion with the composer. 

Radoslawa Jasik is active as an educator. She received a grant from the Polish Government in Warsaw to lead a series of workshops at Polish Schools in New York City in 2022 and 2023.

In April 2024 Mrs. Jasik became President of the non-for-profit organization New York Dance & Arts Innovations, and Executive director of “The International Chopin and Friends Festival.”

Andrea Domenici

Vice President – Artistic Director

Born and raised in Lecco (Italy), Andrea Domenici is a jazz pianist and composer who has been living in New York since 2012. At the beginning of his career he won the first edition of the “Premio Gianni Basso” as best soloist and the first prize of the La Spezia Jazz Competition as the best piano player. A 2016 graduate from The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music, Domenici studied with great piano players such as Benny Green, Barry Harris, Kenny Barron, Dado Moroni, Rossano Sportiello and Mario Rusca.

   Since Domenici has moved to New York, he collaborated and shared the stage with: Harry Allen, Wynton Marsalis, Gary Bartz, Louis Hayes, Kenny Washington, James Morrison, Etienne Charles, Eddie Henderson, Billy Drummond, Peter Washington, Roy Hargrove… Andrea Domenici performed in the most prestigious venues of New York City:Jazz at Lincoln Center, Dizzy’s Club Coca Cola, Smalls, Mezzrow, Smoke Jazz Club, Zinc Bar, Peter Jay Sharp Theater… Andrea Domenici has played all over the world. In 2017 he has played at the Festival Internacional de Música in Cancun, Mexico. Andrea Domenici was also called to do a week residency at the prestigious Marrians Jazzroom in Bern with The David Adewumi’s Quartet.

   Andrea Domenici graduated from The Juilliard School with MM in Jazz Studies. In 2019 he released his album entitled “Playing Who I am” which features Peter Washington on bass and Billy Drummond on drums. He worked as the house pianist at the club inside the prestigious “Casa Cipriani” until 2021. In 2023 he formed a band called “A Sound in Common” together with Francesco Patti, Giuseppe Cucchiara and Andrea Niccolai, they released an album the same year with special guest guitarist Peter Bernstein. This band toured in the west coast and got outstanding reviews. Since April 2024, Andrea Domenici became Vice-President of NYDAI as well as Artistic director of “The Chopin and Friends Festival”.

Fr. Luigi Portarulo

Treasurer

Fr. Luigi Portarulo entered the  St. Pius X Pre-Seminary in the Vatican at the very young age of 12. After ordination for the diocese of Como in 2012, he spent his first years of priestly ministry at the Pre-Seminary within the Vatican. He is a priest of the “Don Folci” Institute, a public association of the faithful.

One of the purposes of this institute is to attend to the needs of the liturgical services at St. Peter’s Basilica with its students as altar servers. During his time as vice-rector and financial administrator of the “Don Folci” Institute, Fr. Luigi won the esteem, trust and sympathy of the young men who have had the experience of being altar servers at St. Peter’s Basilica in recent years.

Genny Seifert

Secretary

Genny Seifert received her Bachelor of Music degree in flute performance from New York University Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. She studied under flutist-composer Gary Schocker and Keith Underwood. Genny also has a passion for administration and is excited to bring that to the performing arts field with New York Dance & Arts Innovations.
