International Chopin & Friends Festival Posters

There is no poster available for the previous two festivals.

The poster for the 8th International Chopin & Friends Festival was collaboratively designed by Wojciech Kwiecien-Janikowski and Przemyslaw Moskal. Both artists represent the young generation of Polish artists. The poster was created pro-bono in support of the festival.

Previous festival posters designed by Mariusz Stawarski:

The posters for the 6th and the 7th International Chopin & Friends Festival were designed by Mariusz Stawarski, an artist from Malbork, Poland. Mr. Stawarski graduated in 1993 from the Department of Interior Design at the School of Fine Arts in Gdansk, Poland. Since 1986 he has been creating art works with a specific dose of humor. His work has won recognition at numerous local and international art competitions, and has been published in the popular Polish magazine "Wprost". In 1999 he received a prize from the Polish section of IBBY for the illustration to a book "Sny" (Dreams) by M. Stokowski. Currently Stawarski works for the Malbork Castle Museum in Poland. As an illustrator he collaborates with the new Polish weekly publication OZON, and with several Polish advertising companies. He also illustrates children’s books. Stawarski’s works are currently exhibited at the Zapiecek Gallery in Warsaw, Poland.

First five festival posters designed by Jan Sawka:

The posters for the first five annual International Chopin & Friends Festivals were designed by Jan Sawka, architect, painter and graphic designer. Additional works of Jan Sawka include concert sets for the Grateful Dead 1989, the Wroclaw Jazz Festival, BAM Art Center, New York Times, Harold Clurman Theater, Samuel Beckett Theater and Jean Cocteau Repertory Theater.
