International Chopin & Friends Festival Poster The posters for the 6th and the 7th International Chopin & Friends Festival have been designed by Mariusz Stawarski, an artist from Malbork, Poland. Mr. Stawarski graduated in 1993 from the Department of Interior Design at the School of Fine Arts in Gdansk, Poland. Since 1986 he has been creating art works with a specific dose of humor. His work has won recognition at numerous local and international art competitions, and has been published in the popular Polish magazine "Wprost". In 1999 he received a prize from the Polish section of IBBY for the illustration to a book "Sny" (Dreams) by M. Stokowski. Currently Stawarski works for the Malbork Castle Museum in Poland. As an illustrator he collaborates with the new Polish weekly publication OZON, and with several Polish advertising companies. He also illustrates children’s books. Stawarski’s works are currently exhibited at the Zapiecek Gallery in Warsaw, Poland. |
